Executing Divine Judgment PRAYER 1. Father God, forgive me of any sin that is given the enemy upper hand in my life and cleanse me with the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus Christ. 2. Father God, teach me what I do not see, so that if I have done iniquity, I will do no more (Job 34:32). 3. I raise the standard of the blood of Jesus against every spirit of death assigned against me, in the name of Jesus Christ. 4. Father God, deliver me from every divine judgment over my father or mother linage, in the name of Jesus Christ. 5. I raise the standard of the Holy Ghost against every witchcraft spirit assigned against me from my father's house, in the name of Jesus Christ. 6. I command the will of the enemy for my life to backre, in the name of Jesus Christ. 7. I command whatever that is contrary to the will of God for my life to perish by re, in the name of Jesus Christ. 8. Judgment re of God, locate any satanic spirit taking the reward of my labour to different people and let it perish by re, in the name of Jesus Christ. 49

I declare divine judgment in the camp of the wicked; I command confusion and crisis in their camp, in the name of Jesus Christ. 14. CHAPTER FIVE CHAPTER FIVE DEALING WITH THE GODS OF YOUR ANCESTORS Joshua 24:2 And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the ood in old time, [even] Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods. {3} And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the ood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac. Joshua revealed to the people that their fathers used to serve other gods at the other side of the ood in the time of old. Terah the father of Abraham was not left out in serving other gods. Terah took his household including Abraham and embarked on a journey to move to the land of Canaan but when they got to Haran they dwelt there and Terah died there with his vision unfullled because he was serving other gods. It was after the death of Terah Abraham's father that God took him out of his father's house to Canaan where He blessed him and 53

Joshua asked the people a challenging question saying \"And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the ood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD (Joshua 24:15). He asked them to choose either the god of their ancestors that hindered Abraham from being fruitful and prosperous or the Lord God that liberated him from the gods of his ancestors and blessed him. For over two decades, I have been in the Deliverance Ministry and what I have discovered to be one of the major root causes of many people problem is the gods of their ancestors. The things ones ancestors used to serve or worship as their gods. The reason many people in different families are experiencing all kinds of evil, such as sudden death, barrenness, poverty and chronic diseases is as a result of such a family background that served other gods. Just like we have it, in time past in the Bible, \"BAAL\" was the chief male deity of the Canaanites' god of rain while \"ASHTERAH\" was the Canaanites' goddess which they served as their god of increase and fertility (1kings 18:19). \"CHEMOSH\" was the Moabite god of war (1 Kings 11: 7,33). \"DAGON\" was the Philippian god and sh god of rain (Judges 16:23; 1 Samuel 5:1-7). \"MOLECH\" was also worshiped, which often involved child 54

Dealing with the gods of your ancestors sacrice, sexual deviations (especially homosexuality, bestiality and incest), and the consultation of medium, as well as any sort of foreign religious practice, (Lev. 18:21-22; 20:1-6) This act breaks the bond of holiness between God and his people (Lev. 20:26).That is why the punishment is so severe that such a person should be put to death. This act of sorcery, mediums, and divinations is still prevalent till this present day. We can clearly see that most of these sexual perversions we see all over the world today are being sponsored by the gods. The gods of the ancestors are the spirits behind idols or satanic altars which the ancestors have instituted in families and villages legally to be their gods. They have different names with specic activities and evil manifestations just like the ancient ones in the Bible. These idols having been legally instituted with covenants established with them to be gods over their families and villages, they exercise authority over their sons and daughters. They speak to them as if God is the one speaking and ignorantly they believe it and act upon the voice. Some strongly adhere and act strictly to the voice whether good or bad, without seeking for counselling. At this level, if it is not checked, it will lead to full-blown mental disorder. The Lord says' \"Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness\" (Luke 11:35). NLT, translation put it this way \"Make sure that the light you think you have is not actually darkness\" (Luke 11:35). 55

The God of Justice We should be careful that what we thought is the spirit of light in us, may not turn to be the spirit of error or the gods of our ancestors which is Satan. In other words, some voices that minister to us as if God is the one may not be Him. The spirit behind the idols which is the gods of the ancestors operates as witchcraft spirit against the sons and daughters of many families or communities where they used to serve satanic altar in the past. The witchcraft spirit poses as god over the children of such families. The witchcraft spirit speaks to their victims as if the Holy Spirit is the one speaking; even go as far as quoting scriptures that would never come to pass. (Matt.4:6; 2 Cor.11:14). They hear these voices month after month and year after year but the situation remains the same in the life of their victims. John 10:5: \"And a stranger will they not follow, but will ee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.\" John 10:27: \"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” The purpose is to make you disbelieve God and never have interest in the word of God since He has been speaking and it has never come to pass. This voice is behind what you are passing through or behind your problems. It is the voice of the gods of the ancestors claiming ownership or god over people's life. When God Almighty speaks to you in the midst of crisis, the problem is solved. In other words, the voice of God marks the end of every problem (Ezekiel 12:24-25). It does not put one into confusion. The voice of God speaks peace, offers solution and direction. When Elijah heard the voice of God (a small still voice), 56

The witchcraft spirit lunches its attack against the children in order to control their destinies with the help of familiar spirit especially those that are covenanted to it. The familiar spirit is the manipulator, he can appear as spiritual marriage partner to the sons and daughters of that family with the face of the people familiar to them physically so that such a person cannot resist the witchcraft spirit. By this they can easily inject spirit of failure or disease through sex or food in the dream. Ones these encounter takes place things will not work out well for such person (Rev.2:14). This is because the ancestors have handed over themselves and their lineage to these deities legally to be their gods. This is the reason many people today experience disappointment, failure and delay in their marital destinies, and tribulations in marriages. Exodus 23:32-33: Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee. Because a covenant has been established through the ancestors, these altars or the witchcraft spirit, will become a snare to the descendants through the following ways. · The spirit demands the sacrice of their blood (life), by haunting them with the spirit of death. · Oppose their physical marriages through disappointment in 57

The God of Justice marriage proposals, delay, and nancial set back during marital preparations or quarrel in marriage. · Demand the sacrice of their pregnancy, by causing miscarriages and barrenness. This occurs by showing their victims red oil, blood, or ripe fruits in the dream. · Demand the sacrice of their wealth, by siphoning their money. Their victims will be labouring and working without being able to give account of their money. · Receiving attacks after paying tithe so that they will not believe in tithing because the spirit is claiming to be gods over them. · The spirit also manifest in the dream by using the faces of people close to you, to ght you in order to deceive you that they are your enemies. · Whenever one is expecting any good thing it also manifest by having sex or bringing food to you in the dream in order to hinder ones expectation. · It also causes nancial or pregnancy abortion by having sex with you in the dream with the face of someone you know physically. It could be the face of your spouse or anybody. This has also caused many troubles between people that are very close. God has warned that we should not embark on idol worship because if we do, it will become a trap. Many families are under the 58

The witchcraft spirit appeared to the female children in the family in male form in the dream while to the male children in female form for canal knowledge with them. The familiar spirit is the manipulator that knows everything about your family and yourself. He may come with the face of people familiar to you and you may be thinking they are the ones responsible for your problem. You may see your father, mother, sister, brother, or close relations ghting you in the dream, this does not mean that they are the ones behind your problem. This is the hand work of the familiar spirit manipulating the activities of the witchcraft spirit behind the gods of your ancestors. They have power over their victims because they were legally brought into the family to be their gods and a covenant has been established with their ancestors. For the female singles, the spirit causes disappointment in marriage proposals and different kinds of attacks. For the male it causes nancial lack when they come of age for marriage or whenever they make up their mind to get married. This is why even after one is married, the couple begin to experience nancial set back either in their businesses or place of work. Some will even lose their job so that there will not be joy or peace in that marriage. A young lady came to me and told me she has been having series of 59

The God of Justice disappointment in marriage proposals and not only that, she has been living in abject poverty. She said to me I cry daily because I am living like a prostitute. I cannot have money to eat without sleeping with a man. As I was counseling her, She told me she went somewhere for deliverance as they were praying for her, a dark dwarf man came and stood at the front of the altar and said to her do quick and let us go. I said to her that it is the witchcraft spirit behind the idols in your father's house and that is the source of your problem. She was wearing pictures of all the prophets she has patronized on her hands and neck. I told her to pull them off and she said to me I have gone everywhere looking for solution. She said the last one she went, she paid two thousand naira for a drop of water in her mouth because she could not afford a bottle of it. I did not waste time, I said to her stand up for your deliverance while in the church I went straight to address the witchcraft spirit behind the problem. When she came the next day, she said she saw the dark dwarf in the dream in front of our church altar right in a cofn and the pastor (I) came and closed the cofn and said with a loud voice \"it is nished\" she said from that day her life changed for better. Hallelujah! It is written, one cannot serve two masters (Matt 6:24) Therefore as you go into prayer, reject the gods of your ancestors because you have accepted Christ. PRAYER 60

CHAPTER SIX LIBERATION FROM ANCIENT COVENANT Ancient covenant is a covenant established with the devil by the ancestors and it is also called ancestral covenant which has a Tran-generational consequence on the unborn or to the fourth generation. Many people were born into families where there are existing ancient covenant established by their ancestors, either with a deity or between two villages, communities, town, cities or individuals. In the days of David, there was a great famine in the land, year after year unknown to David that there was an existing covenant, established by his ancestors. Joshua 9: 14-16 NKJ: And the men took of their victuals, and asked not counsel at the mouth of the LORD. (15)And Joshua made peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them live: and the princes of the congregation sware unto them. (16) And it came to pass at the end 64

They made covenant of peace with the Gibeonite during the time of Joshua but Saul did not know there was ancestral covenant. He slew the Gibeonite, hence the terms of the covenant were violated and consequently the law of the covenant began to deal with the entire land. The land was aficted with great famine. Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the LORD. And the LORD answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites (2 Samuel 21:1). When David made an inquiry from the Lord, He told him it was because Saul slew the Gibeonite therefore he violated the covenant. David went to the Gibeonite in order to avert the consequence. The Gibeonite requested for the life of seven descendant of Saul. 2 Samuel 21:3,5,6 NKJ: Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD? (5)And they answered the king, The man that consumed us, and that devised against us that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the coasts of Israel,(6)Let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us, and we will hang them up unto the LORD in Gibeah of Saul, whom the LORD did choose. And the king said, I will give them. 65

The God of Justice The covenant was established under the generation of Joshua while the generation of King David suffered the consequences of violating it. Whenever a covenant is violated the law of the covenant deals with the violator. Many people today are suffering from the consequences of violating ancient covenant just like David and his generation suffered for what their grandfather did. This is the reason why some families suffer sudden death, devourer, setbacks and lack because there are ancestral covenant crying for sacrice. Animals as deity There are some communities, villages or families where they reverence some kinds of animals as their god. They don't kill such animals instead they are being worshiped. There are some places where such animals like snake are being worshiped even when they are not at home it can stay or play with their children without hurting them. But the irony of it is that those that came from such places are under the inuence of snake. Their glories have been exchanged with that of snake and their status reduced to animal level. Psalm 106:19-20: They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image. {20} Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass. There is a place in India, where they worship Elephant as their god because they believed that some of their ancestor reincarnated to some of those Elephants. The sons and daughters of these communities that worship these animals as deities, are subjected to 66

The ones that have become born again do not make tangible progress in life because their glories and their status have been exchanged. They will not excel in all their endeavours unless the covenant is broken. Man was created in the image of God. The image of God refers to His qualities, personality, intellect and the capacity to relate. He created man to be His kingdom agent, to rule and subdue the rest of creation, including aggressive satanic forces which would infringe upon it (Gen.1:26-28). Satan knew that as long as man remains loyal to God, he will retain the divine qualities that God has given to him. He knew that with this authority of man he would be trampled under the feet of man. He became envious of man's position, he wanted to rule over man and the only way he could do that was to make him to bow to him. In order to achieve this, he has to reduce man to animal status by deceiving him into negative covenant with animal. In Genesis 3:1: He came to deceive by inhabiting in a serpent in order to bring man under what God has made him to rule over. As man obeyed or bowed to his deception he was subjected. Hence the scripture says \"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? (Romans 6:16). 67

The God of Justice In the same vein, many communities or families have been reduced and their glories have been exchanged with that of animal. In the sight of people, they worth nothing and they cannot command respect. Traditions Traditions are rules or pattern created by each villages or communities to guide their affairs. Most of these traditions were instituted and inspired by the devil to pervert justice and enslave people. They are rules laid down to commemorate ancient covenant. For instance, the new yam festival and other traditions like forbidden to eat some kind of food or do certain things are the terms and conditions of ancient covenant. New yam festival is done to appease and gloried the devil which is a slap in the face of God. Any tradition of men that take away the glory that is due to God to Satan is an insult to Him and it will make God to withdraw His blessing Hosea 2:8-9: For she did not know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, [which] they prepared for Baal. {9} Therefore will I return, and take away my corn in the time thereof, and my wine in the season thereof, and will recover my wool and my ax [given] to cover her nakedness. If you have kept these rules in the past or still obeying them, you need to ask God for forgiveness and break the covenant (Rom.6:16). 68

Liberation from Ancient Covenants Signs of existing ancient covenant in a family or community Ÿ In a family or village where they forbid eating certain food or animal Ÿ Ÿ Where they reverence certain animals and forbidden to kill them such as snake, monkey, Tortoise, birds, dog etc. Ÿ Ÿ Where they forbid going to farm, work, market on a certain day of the week. Ÿ When you always seeing yourself in the dream with the person you have stayed with or work with in the past still sending you on errand. You need to break the existing covenant and soul-tie. Until it is broken you cannot stand on your own successfully Ÿ Whenever you fall sick after eating a particular food. Ÿ Any market place where they forbid certain things is an indication that something demonic has been buried to establish a covenant that demands such rules. Ÿ Seeing late ancestors in the dream. Wherever you noticed these rules or principles you ought to know that they are existing covenant. These rules were lay down to commemorate ancestral covenant. I reject and nullify every covenant that has been established with the idols in my father's house with the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus Christ. 6. I reject and nullify every ancient covenant that has been established with any idols by my ancestors with the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus Christ. 7. I reject and nullify every ancient covenant that has been established through my father or mother bloodline, with the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus Christ. 70

I break all covenants I inherited from my ancestors through my father or mother side with the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus Christ. 13. I destroy the authority of any demonic animal which the ancestors instituted as gods in my town or village, in the name of Jesus Christ. 14. Every demonic animal representing the ancient covenant tormenting my life, perish by re, in the name of Jesus Christ. 15. Every river goddess claiming to be my spiritual mother, I declare the judgment of God upon you; perish by re, in the name of Jesus Christ. 19. All the forces dragging me backward to where I lived in the past spiritually, I destroy your authority over my life, in the name of Jesus Christ. 20. All the forces dragging me backward to my father's house spiritually, I destroy your authority over my life, in the name of Jesus Christ. 21. I break the covenant and the soul-tie with the forces in where I lived in the past, in the name of Jesus Christ. 22. I break the covenant and the soul-tie with the forces in my father's house where I was born, in the name of Jesus Christ. 23. I raise the standard of the Holy Spirit against any spirit exercising authority over my life from the land, sea and air in the name of Jesus Christ. 27. Every spirit of ancient covenant causing seasonal sickness in my life, I banish you pack your load and go out of my life, in the name of Jesus Christ. 28. I renew the covenant of the blessings of God, upon my life, with the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus Christ. 29. Father God, open your good treasure the heaven to unleash your blessings upon me, in the name of Jesus Christ. 30. CHAPTER SEVEN PARENTAL DEDICATION AND COVENANT Parental dedication and covenant is when one is legally handed over to the devil by his parents either ignorantly or through traditional belief. Most of these dedications and covenants are done during prenatal, antenatal or postnatal period. 1Samuel1:9-11: So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD. {10}And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. {11} And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the afiction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. There was a delay in Hannah's life, in terms of child bearing and as such, her mate began to make jest of her. For this reason, she was in bitterness of soul and went to the house of God to pray. Parental Dedication and Covenant praying, she vowed or made a covenant to God saying, if you look at my afiction and give me a male child, \"then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head\". The terms of the covenant were that before Samuel's conception in her mother's womb, he was dedicated or covenanted rstly, to remain in the house of the Lord all the days of his life and secondly no razor shall touch his head. If Samuel had chosen to engage in a secular job, it would not have worked for him. On the other hand, if he had decided to shave his hair, he would have been ill, because he was born under a covenant. Covenant is powerful, whenever a covenant is violated, the law of the covenant deals with the violator. Most of the problems that are being attributed to Satan may not be true. Many people are not making progress in all their endeavors because there is a covenant working contrary to their wishes. Thank God that Hannah made the covenant to God but many ignorant parents in their quest to get pregnant, have visited deities such as shrines, idols, witch doctors, rivers or religious houses that were rooted in occultism or marine spirit worship. Those that were born through any of these means are dedicated or covenanted to the devil. The victims of parental dedication are venerable to constant demonic attack or oppression because they were legally handed over to him. The devil attack their marriages, nance and health. Apart from Samuel's covenant which is prenatal dedication, there are some other ways that someone could be dedicated or 75

Umbilical Cord/Placenta Many children after their birth, their umbilical cord or placental was taken either by their direct or grandparent to bury in their father's house. Some are planted with tree and some rituals or incantations are being performed. Therefore link the child to the ancestral spirit in charge of that family. This will enable the gods of the ancestors to exercised authority over that child. Ones this happened the child is attached to the ancestral tree of the family and as such every negative trait in that family will begin to manifest in his life. When the child grows up to adulthood, he will always be dreaming seeing himself right in his father's house in the village. The ancestral powers or the gods of his ancestors will be exercising authority over him and causing backwardness. This will leads to severe hardship, disappointments, miscarriage in pregnancy. Circumcision In the Bible days, circumcision was a token of covenant between God and His children. Circumcision was a covenant responsibility of the descendants of Abraham in order to keep the covenant. Genesis17:10: This [is] my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Everyman child among you shall be circumcised. 76

Parental Dedication and Covenant Circumcision was in the later days transcends to traditional belief that is being hijacked by Satan to lure people into negative covenant. Many people were circumcised traditionally by fetish women that have their altars that are connected to the river goddess and as such they are being dedicated and covenanted to Satan. This is one of the ways marriage covenant is established spiritually. The victims will be faced with spiritual attack by the spirit of incubus and succubus visiting them in the dream to cause sickness, miscarriage, nancial hardship, disappointment in marriage proposals, low sperm count or constant friction in marriage. Christening Many people are also dedicated to the devil during christening either through the names given to them or the rituals performed. The names we bear play a vital role in fullling our destiny on earth. Hence, most of the people called by God to full great destinies, He got their names changed. When He called Abraham to be the Father of many nations, he changed his name from Abram to Abraham which denotes \"father of many nations\". As people were calling him Abraham, they were impacting on him the ability to become the father of many nations God gave him a name that connotes his destiny. Genesis17:4-5: {4} As for me, behold, my covenant [is] with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. {5} Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 77

The God of Justice When the Lord made promise to Abraham, he was seventy ve years old and in chapter Fifteen of Genesis, Abraham was even complaining to God that the promise has not yet been fullled but God still maintain His stand on the promise. When Abraham got to ninety nine years of age, the Lord decided to make it happen by establishing a covenant with him. The two conditions of establishing this covenant with Abraham is circumcision which I have talked about while the second major one is about the change of name. Some people's name may sound good but the rituals performed on the day of christening may be the source of dedication or negative covenant. What has alligator paper, hurt drink, red oil, kola nut, salt, and other substance got to do with the naming of a child. When a child is being christened they look for somebody they believed to be braved to chew the alligator pepper and spit into the mouth of the baby. Through these remarkable acts, not only that a covenant is established, recreation has taken place and the destiny of the child is inuenced. Some were also named after their late ancestors because they believe in reincarnation while others were given name based on the circumstances that surrounds their birth. This was revealed in the life of Jabez. The name Jabez means sorrow. His mother gave him the name because of the sorrowful experience that surrounded his birth. 1chronicles 4:9-10: And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. 78

Parental Dedication and Covenant {4:10} And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep [me] from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. The name affected him negatively until he prayed to God and the Lord delivered him. Everyone is born with a unique and great destiny but this act can truncate it. Incision for protection The Hebrew word \"berit\" translated into English as covenant means to cut. Therefore whenever one is being incised in the body a covenant is established. Many parents took their children to witch doctor to incise their body for one reason or the other. Some were incised for negative protection, against convulsion, against snake bite, marine spirit incision (Ogbanje spirit), for success etc. Through these means negative covenant is established and demons are attached to such a person. Lev.19:28: Ye shall not make any cuttings in your esh for the dead, no print any marks upon you: I am the LORD. Such children will grow up and begin to experience demonic oppression because the demons have been assigned to them through the covenant either during the incision for protection or for success. 79

The God of Justice Childhood sickness Many children were dedicated to Satan during childhood sickness. One need to make a diligent inquiry to know whether he was sick at his tender age and what his parents did in search of solution during that period. For instance, when Herod was killing all the male children because he was looking for Jesus to be eliminated, the Lord instructed Joseph in the dream to take the child Jesus to Egypt (Matt.2:13-15). Jesus was therefore taken to Egypt for safety and not to a witch doctor. But many people unknown to them were taken to witch doctors during childhood sickness and as such a lot of rituals were carried out, which leads to covenanting or dedicating them to Satan. PRAYER 1. As I begin to drink the blood of Jesus either the communion wine or by faith, I command whatever that represents these evil dedication to ush out, in the name of Jesus Christ. 18. By the covenant of the blood of Jesus, I erase the mark of evil dedication by my parents, in the name of Jesus Christ. 23. CHAPTER EIGHT DEALING WITH POWERS THAT BE Powers that be are forces that have been in existence before someone is born into his family or town. They are forces that do not want one to reign over them. Their activities are to hinder people from attaining the position God has made them to be in life. These forces ensure they oppose every effort people make to succeed or full God's ordained destiny in life. Eph.6:10-12: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. {11} Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. {12} For we wrestle not against esh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. The scripture said that we as believers should be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. In other words, we should be empowered through our union with Him and draw strength from His boundless might. Also put on the whole armour of God. To put 84

Dealing with Powers that Be on the armour is a preparation for battle. This battle is not against esh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. To put on the amour is not just a passive protection in facing the enemy, it is to be used offensively against satanic forces or powers that do not want you to fulll your destiny. Ones you are able to destabilize these invisible forces, the physical powers will zzle out. The Lord said \"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you\" (Luke 10:19).The power is not given to us for a decoration but to curb Satan's excesses. Spiritual wickedness in high places are the forces working against or to hinder the ow of our spiritual blessings in heavenly places (Eph. 1:3). Zachariah 3:1: And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. If one must be successful in life, these forces must be dealt with. They are not only physical forces but also invisible powers. Satan stood spiritually at the right hand of Joshua to oppose or resist him. The spirit of Herod Jesus was born with a great destiny to full on earth. The 85

The God of Justice astrologers discovered it through the star which denotes His great destiny to reign as a king. The scripture says: \"When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him\" (Matt.2:3). The problem with Herod was that, how can another king be born to reign over me when I am already here -The power that be. For this reason, he tried to eliminate the new born king (Matt.2:16). As a result of this development, Joseph was instructed by God to take the child to Egypt for safety (Matt. 2:13). It was after the death of Herod that God asked Joseph to return the child, \"Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life (Matt.2:20). In the same vein, Satan claim to be the prince or the ruler of this world (John12:31) and we are the kings of this world (Rev.5:10). Therefore, he is ghting assiduously to resist us with different forces or human agents in our place of birth or locality. David was anointed to be king over Israel at the age of fteen (1Samuel 16:13) but Saul would not let him be or reign as a king. It took David another fteen years to mount on the throne of Israel as a king (2Samuel 5:4) because Saul engaged him in a long battle (2Samuel 3:1). Saul's motive was how can David reign over me while I am already here as a king -The power that be. Powers in your father's house When God revealed the destiny of Joseph to him in the dream, 86

Dealing with Powers that Be Joseph related it to his brothers and when they discovered that he was destined to be great and reign over them on earth by God, they tried to eliminate him -The power that be. Genesis 37:18-20: And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him. {19} And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh. {20} Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams. When the Lord said to Gideon, \"…Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee? (Judges6:14). Based on the unpleasant situation that Gideon found himself, he said\"… Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house. In other words, he was saying to the Lord, I cannot see the possibility of occupying such a high position because my family is very poor. Therefore, God revealed to Gideon the reason his family was very poor was in his father's house which was the altar of Baal that his father has. Judges 6:25: And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father's young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that [is] by it: Though Gideon was not directly involved in serving the idol but 87

Abraham was seventy ve years old yet he was childless and still at the mercy of his father until God asked him to leave his father's house. Joshua 24:2,3: And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the ood in old time, [even] Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods. {3} And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the ood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac. Abraham was with his father at the other side of the ood where his father served other gods. God took him out of that wrong foundation of idolatry in his father's house. God took him to a new foundation where He was the builder and where he would become what He wanted him to be. Then God gave him Isaac and multiplied his seed. Hebrews 11:8-10: By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. {9} By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as [in] a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: {10} For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker [is] God. 88

Dealing with Powers that Be Any power in your father's house that does not want you to be or reign over them I raise the standard of the blood of Jesus against them, in the name of Jesus Christ. Territorial powers In every locality or environment there are powers or forces that stands as a ruler spirit or principality that are in charge of all demonic activities in such area. For one to excel in any locality or environment, these environmental forces must be dealt with. You must take authority or declare Gods judgement on them in order to dismantle their powers over your life. These territorial forces are constituted by satanic altars where sacrices are made in such environments. Altar is a place of sacrice (Ex.20:24), therefore in every environment where sacrices or libation are made, is an empowerment to satanic forces to be in operation against the inhabitants of such environment. Such places like four road junction, T road junction, market place, ancestral land or bush, burial ground and community altars or river. Daniel 10:12-13: Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the rst day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. {13} But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia 89

The God of Justice When Daniel embarked on twenty one days prayer and fasting on the last day of the prayer, an angel of the Lord appeared to him saying \"from the rst day you get on with the spiritual exercise, the Lord heard your prayer, so I was sent to you but the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me for twenty one days until Ach- Angel Michael came to help me\". The prince of the kingdom of Persia was the principality in charge of satanic activities in the kingdom of Persia. The prince of Persia resisted and delayed the mission of the angel of the Lord because the prayer was taken place in Persia. This is one of the reasons why many people in communities or town can be identied with a particular character or problem. These forces could be in spiritual or physical form to resist or inuence the life of its indigenes negatively. Under the new testament dispensation, the Lord has given us the authority that whatever we bind here on earth is bound in heaven and whatever we loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven (Matt.16:19). Acts 5:17-20: Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were lled with indignation, {18} And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison. {19} But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said, {20} Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life. The high priest and seduces were the powers that be before the Apostles began their mission, so they stood as physical principality 90

Dealing with Powers that Be to repel them from preaching the gospel of Christ. While the Apostles were locked up in the prison by the Sadducees God sent His angel and they were released mysteriously. The Sadducees and the Pharisees also stood against Christ mission because they believed they have been there before Him. Jesus told them \"before Abraham I was\" They never wanted Him to reign over them therefore the Lord said. Luke 19:27: But bring here those enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, and slay them before me. Some years ago, I went to a particular community to open a branch of our church, so one evening a lady walked up to me and said I was in a wrong place that churches do not survive in that area. The next day by ve, I did a prayer walk round the locality. I took authority over the principality in that area and when I came back I laid-back on my bed and slept off. In a revelation, I saw myself in the church auditorium and people were trooping in, then I woke up. After this encounter, the church picked up and there was a woman that owns a Hotel in that area. She sent for me and told me that many churches had come to that place and letter fold up but since I came that our church have been doing ne. She ordered her manager to be given me a plate of meal every day from that day. I give God all the glory. As we move to prayer, we have to declare and execute the judgment of God upon every spirit of Herod, forces in our father's 91

The God of Justice house, and in our territories that do not want us to reign over them or make head way in life. We have to raise the altar of prayer in order to counter these power that be and territorial altars so that we can triumph over them. PRAYER 1. Father God forgive me of every sin I have committed that may hinder me from receiving answer to my prayers, in the name of Jesus Christ. 2. Father God, deliver me from every divine judgment over my father or mother linage by your mercy, in the name of Jesus Christ. 3. Any power in my village (mention your village name) that does not want me to be what God has made me to be perish by re of God, in the name of Jesus Christ. 4. Any power in my neighborhood or where I live that does not want me to be what God has made me to be perish by re of God, in the name of Jesus Christ. 5. Any power in my father's house that does not want me to be what God has made me to be perish by re of God, in the name of Jesus Christ. 6. All the forces in my father's house that does not want me to rein over them I declare the judgment of God upon you by re, in the name of Jesus Christ. 92

Every limitation or standard set by the principalities in my village against the status of the sons and daughters break off by re in my life, in the name of Jesus Christ. 12. I revoke and nullify every generational curse in my life hindering me from receiving my blessing with the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus Christ. 13. Consuming re of God, destroy every power that does not want me rein in life, in the name of Jesus Christ. 14. Every occultic, witchcraft or marine altars in my neighborhood that hinders the progress of the inhabitants, I destroy your power over my life, with the altar of the blood of Jesus in the name of Jesus Christ. 93

Judgment sword of God; locate every spirit of Herod resisting my breakthrough and terminate him now, in the name of Jesus Christ. 21. Every altar in my father's house, mother side or my in-law side as a stumbling block to my breakthrough, I raise the altar of the blood of Jesus against you, in the name of Jesus Christ. 27. I declare as it is written, I am empowered to reign over all forces of darkness and nothing shall by any means hurt me in the name of Jesus Christ. 28. Father God, anoint me afresh with the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome all powers that be, in the name of Jesus Christ. 29. I declare that I will trample upon serpent and scorpions and over all the powers of the enemies, in the name of Jesus Christ. 95

CHAPTER NINE FILTHY GARMENT ZECHARAIH 3:1-3: {1} And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. {2} And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: [is] not this a brand plucked out of the re? {3} Now Joshua was clothed with lthy garments, and stood before the angel. Biblically, garment is a symbolic of one's identity or personality. Spiritually garment reveals ones nature and it carries an aura or image that gives people either positive or negative impression of you. It is the impression of you that is registered in the mind of people that determines how they relate with you. Whenever you appear before anyone, it's either you are rated high or low based on your spiritual garment. Your garment can either attract good or bad, angels or demons, blessing or curse. The above scripture reveals that when Joshua the high priest was standing 96

Filthy Garment before the angel of God, Satan was also standing at his right hand to oppose or resist him. The right hand of Joshua symbolizes his power or authority therefore he could no longer exercise his authority as a priest because Satan was at his right hand to resist him. One could imagine what gave Satan the impetus to stand beside him to resist a whole high priest. It was the lthy garment on Joshua that attracted Satan to him. Therefore when the lthy garment was removed in verse ve, Satan left him and then the Angel of the Lord alone stood by. Zachariah 3:4, 5: And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the lthy garment from him. And unto him he said, behold, I have caused thy iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. (5) And I said, let them set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord stood by. Take note, in verse one the Angel of the Lord was not standing beside Joshua but rather it was Joshua standing before him while Satan stood at his right hand. It was when the lthy garment was removed in verse ve that the angel of the Lord stood beside Joshua. Many people today are wearing lthy garment spiritually and as such devil is standing beside them to resist their progress in every 97

The God of Justice project they embark upon. When Isaac wanted to bless his rst son Esau, Jacob conspired with his mother to steal the blessing. Jacob and his mother knew that he was not qualied for that blessing because he does not have the personality. Therefore he went and stole the garment of his elder brother Esau who deserved the blessing. Genesis 27:15 NKJ: And Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which were with her in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son. They took Esau's raiment because garment reveals our personality or gives people the impression of one's identity. When Jacob came closer to the father for the blessing, it was not his voice that attracted the blessing. It was the garment of Esau he wore that made the father to bless him. Genesis 27:27: And he came near and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him and said, see, the smell of my son is as the smell of a eld which the Lord has blessed. When Jacob drew near to his father, it was the garment of Esau that has the aura of the eld which the Lord has blessed that attracted the blessing.
