The goal of physical development is good health and proper growth of children. It involves physical fitness, nutrition, hygiene, personal grooming, health education, health assessment, and prevention and treatment of diseases. Childhood is the period of physical growth and the time when great attention and care must be paid to one’s physical development. Schools and educators must take a positive, dynamic approach towards health and implement an active programme for the same. ‘Keep your tool sharp and clean and watch how he works through you’. - H.H.
