Question 1: How does it feel to become the Kohinoor of MGM?Himanshu : The Kohinoor happens to be among the most valuable diamonds inthe world, and hence, to be awarded the title Kohinoor of MGM gives meimmense happiness. I would like to thank my college for considering me as thebest candidate to be awarded with the title KOHINOOR of this year. Thisfeeling cannot be expressed in words. It is a very precious and unforgettablemoment. I hope that this is not my last award in life and that it marks theinitiation of a brighter future.Most importantly I would like tothank my parents; they stoodwith me in my crucial time andhelped me through. I wouldalso like to thank ourprincipal sir, technicaland non-technical staffmembers who guided meand made me capable tostand as a candidate inthis competitive phase oflife. Last but not theleast, I thank all my batchmates, my mechanical family: Raju, Faeem, Navneet Joshi, P. Deepak andmany more who stood with me whenever I needed those most.The people behind my success are my parents who helped me fulfil all mywishes in life, always stood by me and gave me the strength to stand atevery platform. Question 2: What do you owe your success to?Himanshu : The credit of my success goes to my teachers who always helpedme to achieve the goal of my life. A special thanks to our respected H.O.D. sir,Mr. Sachin. R. Jambhale who helped me a lot in this phase too. He allowed meto participate in his project and that gave me the chance to work with himand build up the quality of doing such a project. Teachers are also the god ofour life who play a vital role in building the path of our life and help usachieve success in our life. They impart right education to us and help us findthe best way to achieve that goal.Question 3: Role of college and teacher’s in achieving this title?Himanshu : Our College and teacher’s play a vital role in helping me achievethis title. The college allowed me to organize co-curricular activities for ourjunior’s .This gave me the chance to work in a team, manage the team, andmanage events and much more. The teachers helped me a lot in organizing theco-curricular activities for our college. Thanks to them, I expanded my abilitynot only in class but in every other field too. Our college guided me to achievemy goals with the application of best of my effort.Question 4: Message to the newcomers.Himanshu : The message that I want to convey to our junior’s is supportedwith this quote: “Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching”To get success in life, believe in this quote and put your best foot forward toimpart your education to the needy and grow your ability and skills also, tomove higher and higher in this competitive life. Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s College of Science & Technology,Noida had conducted one day seminar on Micro/ Meso –ScaleManufacturing Processes & its Applications on 8th December,2015 stated by Prof. Kornel Ehmann, Faculty, Manufacturingand Design Engineering (MaDE) Program, NorthwesternUniversity, Chicago.Hon’ble Chairman of MGM, Shri Kamal Kishore Kadam, DrGeeta Lathkar mam and Dr. Sunil Wagh had added honor tothis workshop.The Workshop was conducted by Prof. S R Jambhale, Head ofMechanical Department. Total 35 professionals from variousprestigious institutions were part of this paramountworkshop.Prof. Kornel F. Ehmann sir graced seminar by initiating hisfirst lecture session with the overview of MicroManufacturing. He consequently presented how themanufacturing field is transformed from traditional, micro,nano, stages to additive manufacturing nowadays and endedwith overview on writing his Research Paper. The academic record of ‘Mahatma Gandhi Mission College ofEngineering and Technology’ needs no backing up. Theacademic results have always been worth mentioning. Thestudents have always been able to score a good percentage andalmost all the students pass in all the years.The highest percentage scored this year was 82.60% andaverage for all the years was also very good. We even witnesseda lot of reputed companies pooling in this year for the campusdrives that include Essel Shyam Communication, Algoworks,Maintech Tochnologies Pvt Ltd, etc. and many students gotselected. The credit for this wonderful record goes to the highlyqualified and hardworking faculty of this college whomotivate their students to excel in academics and extra-curricular activities.The academic council is made by the toppers of all the yearsin different branches and a lot of events were organized in thisspan of a year for strengthening the academic base of thestudents. It was a two round competition where the awareness andtechnical and social knowledge of the students were checked.Round 1: QuizIn this round a quiz was given which consisted of 50 questionsabout technical knowledge and awareness.Round 2: Group DiscussionA group of 8 students were made and they were provided atopic for this round. The points given by the students werereally good and they had a healthy discussion supporting theirpoints and contradicting the others.
Navneet Joshi (Secretary)Sometimes you don’t have words to express your feelings but I would definitelysay that I am gonna miss the college days because It will be very difficult forme to get such love and respect from any other institution, I will join.So, it was like a dream when I have selected as a secretary of culturalcommittee all thanks to Dr. sunil wagh sir and HODs for giving me theopportunity to excogitate the most awaited cultural fest for continuously twotimes as a core member of the cultural committee.I would also say that the team which I had was the best cultural team becauseall of them did lot of hard work with me to make this fest best for the students. Arzoo(Joint Secretary) Being a Joint Secretary in Cultural, I had some cheerful memories with my team, the way we organized events during Antarnaad. All credits goes to my team for their cooperation and to come up with some Brilliant Ideas of the events!
Preetam Gaikwad Working as team member of cultural committee was a wonderful experience for me. Everyone showed their interest and supported each other when needed. Siddhant VermaI always had a keen interest in cultural activities and I wasglad when this year I got the opportunity to be one of themembers of ANTARNAAD cultural team. Being a part of thisteam I was able to enhance my management and cultural skills.I learned a lot from my seniors working with us. 1. Vaibahv Singh (Secretary)Sports and academics complement each other. If both of them are carried outtogether, the overall personality of the student is enhanced. This is what Ilearned while working as the sports secretary. The qualities of the leadership,team spirit and tolerance are learned from sports.I would like to express my gratitude towards Prof. Sunil Wagh sir forencouraging sports, chief coordinator Mr. S.K. Anand Shubham Sports is very important because we spend the whole year only studying and hence it a refreshing experience. It was a great experience working with the team and conducting the matches. I had a great time with the seniors and all the members of the sports committee.

The daycommenced with a formal welcome accorded by thestudents & the staff followed by the lighting of thelamp by the honourable chief guest followed by theSaraswati Vandana.The students presented a variety of cultural programsby adding warmth and colour to the stage throughtheir dances, songs, mimicry and not to forget themotivational messages by Chief Guest and PrincipalSir.The event was concluded by the prize distribution
