COURTESY A spectacular assembly on ‘Courtesy’ was organized by Senior 4A on 5 December 2020. ‘Courtesy’ was explained using creative, video presentations. A story on ‘Good Manners’, a song on ‘Courtesy’ and a ‘Talk Show’ was also presented.

HEALTHY EATING Students of Junior 6B presented their assembly on ‘Healthy Eating’ on 7 December 2020. The students emphasized that healthy food should be eaten to stay fit. Valuable information, quotes on healthy eating and a song was presented.

Importance of Physical Education On 16 and 17 February 2021 Senior 1A and 3A conducted assemblies on the ‘Importance of Physical Education and Fitness.’ The students presented informative speeches to explain the ‘Importance of Physical Education.’ They also enacted skits and presented quotes and fun-facts to motivate everyone to participate in Sports.

BAHRAIN’S CULTURE AND HERITAGE To familiarize students with Bahrain’s Culture and Heritage, Senior 3B, 2B and 1B conducted assemblies from 8-10 December 2020. Quizzes, video presentations and PowerPoint were presented.

THE IMPORTANCE OF READING ‘Reading is an adventure that takes our mind through a long journey…. it gives knowledge, makes us think out of the box, improves our reading skills and makes us more creative.’ To motivate everyone to cultivate the regular habit of reading good books, Senior 4C and 2C conducted mind- blowing assemblies on the 28 and 29 of January 2021. The mesmerizing assemblies ended with creative video presentations.

Conservation of Water and Electricity ‘Nature is one of God’s beautiful creations. Through nature, God is able to teach us, speak to us, and provide for us.’ With the above heart-warming lines, Senior 2B and 4B welcomed everyone present to their Morning assemblies on the topic ‘Conservation of Water and Electricity.’ The assemblies were presented on 3 and 6 February. The students welcomed the Head of LKG Manama with a song and an e-card. The assembly concluded with a music video giving information on how to save water and electricity and a poem titled, ‘Conserve Energy.’ The Informative Quiz on conserving the Earth’s Resources wrapped up the two assemblies.

No Legacy is so rich as Honesty On 9 and 10 February 2021 Senior 4A and 2A conducted breath-taking assemblies on the topic ‘Honesty’. The importance of Honesty was explained using Video Presentations, Songs and Quizzes. A skit titled, ‘An Honest Painter.’ was also enacted.

Science For and With Society On 11 February 2021 Senior 4 students organized a Science assembly on the topic ‘Science for and with Society’. A short video and a skit was presented to highlight the Importance of Energy and its Uses.

PUNCTUALITY On 8 December 2020 Senior 3B conducted their assembly on ‘Punctuality’. First, the students defined the word ‘Punctuality’, explained the ‘Benefits of being Punctual’ and then enacted a skit to show that a person who is punctual is respected and successful in life.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE On 22 February 2021 the Business Department organized an inspiring and enriching assembly to make everyone realize that all a person needs to make a difference is ‘A heart that loves.’ The Business Students presented an incredible skit and a short animated video which everyone enjoyed.

PROPER REST REJUVENATES ENERGYJunior 6D students held their assembly on the topic, ‘Proper Rest Rejuvenates Energy’ on 25 February 2021. The students presented a Motivational Quote on the topic and then conveyed the message why rest is important.

PATIENCE On 16 March 2021 Junior 4A held an assembly focusing on the topic, ‘Patience.’ The students elaborated on the word ‘Patience’ and cited examples on the virtue using PowerPoint Presentations. Wonderful Quotes on the Virtue of Patience were also presented.

COURAGE OVER CONFIDENCE On 17 March 2021 Senior 3C students conducted an assembly on ‘Courage over Confidence.’ The students presented inspiring quotes and explained the meaning of Courage and Confidence with short speeches. A short story titled, ‘David and Goliath’ was also narrated to simplify further the meaning of ‘Courage and Confidence.’

‘SYMPATHY’ Junior 4B organized an assembly on 23 March 2021. The students narrated a story and showed a Video to explain the meaning of Sympathy. Different ways of showing Sympathy to the people who are grieving were also shared. This assembly motivated students to be sympathetic to the people who have lost their loved ones during the Pandemic.

KINDNESS ‘Love and Kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference.’ On 29 March and 13 April 2021 Junior 1A and Junior 3A organized innovative assemblies on ‘Kindness.’ Through action songs, quotes, short videos and practical tips, the children motivated everyone to be kind to make the world a better place. The Spirit of Kindness was an accomplishment for all those who were involved.

COMRADE On 30 March 2021 an assembly was organized by the Junior 4C students. The theme of the assembly ‘Comrade’ was presented through various events such as a story on love and friendship, thought-provoking quotes, a song and a video presentation. Later, Vice-Principal gave her message on the significance and importance of choosing good friends.

HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS An assembly on ‘Healthy Relationships’ was organized by Junior 6A students. They presented their ideas beautifully using meaningful quotes.

HAPPINESS On 19 and 27 April 2021 Junior 1B and 3C children presented assemblies on ‘Happiness.’ The aim of the assemblies was to help the children to recognize the Importance of being Happy with what they have. The children recited meaningful poems, showed short videos and sang beautiful songs on Happiness.

FOCUS On 20 April 2021 Junior 3B children organized an assembly on ‘Focus.’ The assembly commenced with a Welcome Speech. They later conducted a ‘Chat Show’ to explain why focus is important in our life. Then, they performed an energetic dance on the theme based song, ‘This is my Focus.’

FAITH On 26 April 2021 Junior 1C children presented their assembly on ‘Faith.’ The children presented apt quotes and showed a poem, to convey the message a video that we should always trust God and place everything in his hands.

COMPASSION Junior 3D held its Class Assembly on ‘Compassion’ on 4 May 2021. Using a Video Presentation, quotes and a song, the meaning of ‘Compassion’ was explained.

Smile ‘Smile is the key that fits the lock of everybody’s heart.’ On 11 May 2021 Junior 2A children conducted an assembly on the topic ‘Smile.’ The children created a Smiley Face to spread simple joy and love to everyone. They spoke confidently about the importance of a smile in their day to day lives. They also narrated a story related to the topic and recited a poem that brought a smile on everyone’s face.

Positive Thinking From 12 to 15 October 2020 Senior 3B, 2B, 1B & 4B conducted enlightening and motivating assemblies on ‘Positive Thinking.’ Through Video Presentations, self- composed poems and songs, the students conveyed the message that ‘Positivity enables a person to lead a better life and achieve Success.’

On 31 May 2021, Junior 2D children presented their assembly on the topic ‘Gratitude.’ The assembly began with an introduction. This was followed by some quotes on ‘Gratitude’, a video presentation, a dance and a poem. Junior 2 D children were also portrayed in a collage with background music. THANK YOU
