Bahraini Dance By Senior 3

The virtual fare well assembly for Junior 6 was held on 19-05-2021, Wednesday at 7:30am. The assembly was led by Zayden. The assembly started with Bahrain national anthem and the prayer by Abigail, Jovina and Swizel from Junior 5. Group song performed by Junior 5 students to say good bye to the seniors, followed by an energetic cinematic dance. The video of instrumental music played by Shanon, Mathew, Asher, Wren and Hillary displayed after the dance performance. The power point presentation for Junior 6 students pumps up the memories of normal school days. Sister Jacintha delivered a message to Junior 6 students followed by thank you speech from Angelina, Junior 6. The assembly was concluded with School song.

Handmade Hugs Angela Varghese of Junior 5D picked up the art of crocheting last year by watching videos on the net and started making little bunnies, small blankets, and teddy bears, to bring happiness and hope amongst the children in the pediatric cancer ward. This little angel decided to donate these toys to them. She was featured recently in The Gulf Weekly

SS STORYWORLD On 23 April 2020 - World book day, Do visit us at Shrutee and Smritee Manish (Junior 5D) www.sstoryworld.com to started a Storytelling group named join our storygroup SS StoryWorld. It's a fully functional WhatsApp story group with 130 + members from across the globe. As a group, they share stories 5 days a week and other educational programs. Recently, SS Storyworld has launched a library of fully illustrated e-books written by them on www.bookcreator.com. They were also interviewed on Radio 104.2 FM for KIDS SPECIAL with RJ KASHISH on 6 March 2021 The vision of the two sisters is to provide Adults and Children with a common platform on which they can share their talents and love for storytelling.

Literary Talent Multitalented Rheanna M Kantipudi from Senior 2C is an avid reader, writing has always been a favorite pastime. She enjoys reading and contributing to the GDN newspaper and regularly does the puzzles on the coffee break page!! Rheanna had participated in GDNLife Short Story Contests - Junior section in January 2021. This young author and budding writer won 1st place for her lovely short story \"Luck? Are You Kidding Me!\" This contest has been a novel and fantastic experience for her as she loves crafting prose and poetry over a range of topics of which Humor is a pet preference.

Digital Debut Avid and elegant dance lover Vivena Rose from Senior 1 B made her Indian classical dance form Kuchipudi debut with an online performance. Kuchipudi combines intricate rhythmic footwork with highly expressive physical and facial gestures. The video was captured by Jeevan Padmanabhan, a Bahrain-based cinematographer ,well known in film industry.
