जििीविषा जीवन जीने की उतकट इच्छा ये जजजीजवषछा ह.ै .. ये कभी हछार नही मछानेगी, चट्छानों कछा जिनछा चीर कर जछागेगी, आधं ी तफु छानों कछा िछामनछा कर गजु रेगी, जझु ती रहगे ी मजु ्कलों िे, लड़ती रहगे ी परेशछाजनयों िे, ये झकु े नहीं, ये रुके नहीं, ये थके नही, ये थमे नही, जकतनी भी हो चछाहे रछासते में कजिनछाईयछा चछाहे घरे ले चहू ओर िे, कछाली पर्छाईयछां, न मोड िकछा है कोई, न कोई मोड िके गछा, ये जजजीजवषछा ह,ै इिे न कोई तोड िके गछा, ये जजजीजवषछा ह.ै .. - श्ेतछा पछािक अजं तम वष,्ष अनजु वद्तु अजभयछांजरिकी

जििीविषा जजजीजवषछा, एक शब्द जजिकछा िरल अथ्ष है जीने की इच्छा । इि िरल िे अथ्ष के िछाथ यह अद्ुत शब्द जीवन की अिीम भछावनछाओं और िभं छावनछाओं को ्दशछा्षतछा है । मनषु य सवभछाव कछा अगर जकिी एक शब्द में वरन्ष जकयछा जछा िकतछा है तो जनजचित ही वह शब्द जजजीजवषछा है । इिी जववरर कछा प्रमछार है बीतछा वष्ष । जब कोरोनछा महछामछारी िे जझू कर हर मनषु य रिसत और परेशछान थछा तब मछानव सवभछाव की अिीम जजजीजवषछा ने ही उिे िभं छालछा थछा । बढ़ते िंक्रमर और फै लती बीमछारी के बीच भी हर वयजति अपनछा कर्व्ष य परू ी जनष्छा के िछाथ जनभछा रहछा थछा । जचजकतिको और शोधकतछा्षओंिे ले कर अिहछाय ज्दहछाड़ी मज्दरू ों तक खछानछा पहुचँ ने वछाले कजमय्ष ों तक हर मनषु य ने जजमम्े दछार नछागररक होने की भजू मकछा परू ्ष रूप िे जनभछाई है । जहछाँ जशक्छा भी जप्ड़ने लगी थी वहछाँ जशक्कों ने भी अपनी क्मतछाओंको नछाप कर जडजजटल जशक्छा के िछाधन िीखे और अपनछा जशक्क होने कछा कर्व्ष य परू ्ष जकयछा । ARCEON ‘21 कछा यह प्रकछाशन मनषु य सवभछाव की इिी दृढ़ जजजीजवषछा और हर एक वयजतिगत और िछामजू हक प्रयछाि को िमजपष्त है । हर मनषु य के ्ोटे और बड़े प्रयतन को िममछाजनत करनछा इि प्रकछाशन कछा एकमछारि लक्य है । “मनषु य की जजजीजवषछा ही उिके जवकछाि और उर्रजीजवतछा कछा आधछार है ।”



From The Editors’ Desk “The art of writing is the art of discovering what you believe.” –Gustave Aubert. Somewhere scribbling along the pages during lectures to pouring our hearts out in the darkness of night, we’ve all lived! Every reader has a special memory, be it of their first novel ever read or the most special book their hearts adored. This section is the harbour where you can board the ships to voyage to the writings of our authors. Through ‘Aurora’, we encourage everyone to find a light within themselves, that shines and emerges in the darkness, just like the red and green tinges in the early hours of morning, giving us the motivation required. This year was the year of change, to acknowledge the new ordinary. Likewise, each and every conviction that is pen down is done to bring the positive change. No matter how long the night is, the dawn will break! Every venture requires the effort of many people, so did this one! I express my gratitude to our principal Dr. R.S. Pande for providing us a platform to showcase our thoughts and ideologies, our faculty –in charge for their guidance, and the editors for their constant support. Flowers are blooming, with their aroma blowing... This beauty is mesmerizing!! But! What's special about this morning!?? Coz this scene happens every single morning.. This thought might come in everyone's thinking! Here, The point to remember is, aurora is never the same Each of it comes up with a new face! Therefore, This has taken a birth, so that we can feel its grace..!! This morning bliss.. We always missed! Coz we were busy in a life, full of pissed! It's an opportunity to sense it To give our lives a positive gist! The life has taken a sharp turn Virus has made our heart burn! But Nothing to worry about, cause No one can stop us from gaining life's sweet acorn! At the same time it could be Who could calm me? Dull and grey if we let it Who could save me? I ask myself, shaking with fear, That the heart always knows what it wants Could the evil possibly corrupt the god inside And it's the brain that builds the confusion me? ENGLISH VALUE OF WORDS Once, Bhagwan Buddha was doing dhyan in the jungle. At this time, a man was walking by him. He was lost, tired and hungry. Seeing the peaceful look on Buddha’s serene face, the man instantly became very angry. He started to swear at Bhagwan Buddha. He thought Bhagwan Buddha would open his eyes and respond. However, Buddha’s expressions did not change. Again the man yelled and swore; still no reaction. So he shook Bhagwan Buddha and said, “I’ve been swearing at you for a while; say something!” To which Bhagwan Buddha replied, “I have not paid attention to what you have been saying.” “You might not have paid attention to them, but you did hear them. So why didn’t you say something?” asked the man. “Your words are worthless, so why would I listen to them?” replied Buddha. This annoyed the man even further. “And since I haven’t acknowledged them, they are still with you,” continued Bhagwan Buddha. “How is that?”, The man questioned. Bhagwan Buddha asked for a few coins from the man. Pointing to them, he said, “If you were to offer these coins to someone, what happens if that person does not accept them?” This explanation opened the man’s eyes. He realized, “If no one accepts my coins, then they stay with me. Venus They hide proper news and spread propaganda, Some judge her character, a few are jealous Without guilt, they work for someone’s agenda. She bleeds five days a month, she feels the pain To make their imprints in the film industry, Myriad talented youth come to the city. She is kept isolated In search of hope and fulfil their dreams, If she tries to get herself involved, she is blamed Only to see opportunities are only for star kids. For nepotism, they don’t have any guilt, for a stupid rule If they’re star kids, their prestige is sealed. Which has been violated! The audience watches their crap blindly, Wearing short dress is a crime They don’t even treat fans and outsiders kindly. ENGLISH You too want to rape me?! India, a nation of hues and spirits. One of the most visited country in the world, famous for its colours, architecture, food, spices and above all, its culture. A culture purely based on ethics and values that flows in its every native. With these thoughts just crossed my mind, my chest puffed out, feeling proud of the motherland I was born in. I was walking along the path of the park, just like any other evening. It’s always good to have a walk after an exhausting day. Company of thought for some few miles do contribute for a better day. As I was walking, something hit my foot, upon looking down, I found it was a small pocket diary fell from the pocket from someone who just passed by. I picked it up and turned, a blonde lady was walking away with earphones plugged in. I yelled- “Excuse me ma’am!” Expectedly, it went in unheard, so I ran to her. She was blonde and height, a little less than me. She was walking confidently on the tunes of music. Clearly, she wasn’t Indian and I was surprised a bit as tourists are rare in Nagpur, and this part of the city was just a residential area. As I reached her, again I said - “Hey, Ma’am!!!” And surprisingly, this too went unheard. It was like she didn’t expect anyone to talk to her. I tapped her shoulder, that confident posture withered as she turned. She stood frozen, her expressionless face changed drastically, eyes widened, brows condensed, she struggled to breathe every inch of air and her pinkish face was pale and wane in no time. While I was still wondering what just happened, she said in a low submissive voice- “You too want to rape me?!” “Eh?.. Wh.. What?...What did she just said?.. Yeah, she said something about raping her! But... why?... Does it make sense here?” 39

ARCEON 21 Though I was awestruck, I turned my head down. I could not face that brutal honesty in her eyes. I was unable to bear that pain. In no condition to speak, I passed that diary to her. After staring it for a few seconds, she took it. As I loosened my grip, I looked at her, she wasn’t panicked now, but afraid, those brows were calm now, but fear still gripped her eyes. Before running away, she looked at me, in my moist but red eyes, she found guilt, a necessary one. And this forces me to see the dark side. The dark side of Indian society and condition of women. We live in a country where we worship female deity, we call our nation- Bharat Mata, and the practical condition is, our women are not safe, not from any external enemy, but they fear our own men. Society blames the victim for wearing short clothes, for going out late at night, for being so friendly with males, for each and every thing, which was not her fault. Society blames her for being raped. And Police asks her to explain in detail how she was raped. I mean, how can you be so cruel, how can you be so inhumane. If you just can’t support her then please for God’s sake do not traumatize her. They blame it upon her, but tell me who is to be blamed when, new born is raped, her dress??? When a 13 year old is raped in bright daylight, the dark night??? When her own father rapes her, her male friends??? Tell me who is to be blamed for a mentally and physically challenged is raped on wheel chair??? About that 3 weeks old, or that 74 year old, even the corpse??? Who is to be blamed??? A 9th grader is raped and blinded so that she should not recognize the perpetrators. A pregnant lady is gang-raped in front of her tied husband. The gram panchayat orders victim for gang-rape, just for choosing her life partner from a different caste. Who is to be blamed??? Who the hell is to be blamed when, a teen rapes, 94 year old, almost extinct being, rapes, a labourer rapes, a high class business man rapes, a film industry superstar rapes, a social worker rapes, when a 4year old rapes and 12 men gang rape??? 40
