LOT 584 $5 1899 PCGS MS65 CAC Very high end for the assigned grade. A strong frosty mint luster has a wonderful satiny texture on both sides. The sharply struck design elements stand out and have a great look, and aside from a tiny reverse planchet flake, the surfaces are really clean. A real GEM in every sense of the word. PCGS 150, NGC 610, CAC 59. The most recent CAC-approved example to sell in auction realized $3,360 and was an NGC graded coin. The last PCGS/CAC coin sold nearly three years ago. We know this coin will sell for a premium bid, as this one is totally PQ! PCGS# 8398| ESTIMATE: $1,850+ LOT 585 $5 1908-S INDIAN. PCGS MS65 CAC It is so hard to find these unmessed with and a real FULL GEM MS 65. This coin certainly is both! Totally real surfaces are smooth and have almost NO marks of any size (with a glass you can find a minor tick or two-and that’s it). Even the dreaded right reverse is above average. No question this coin is totally ORIGINAL and has never been dipped or messed with. A strong luster shows off beautiful even gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Every detail is sharply struck and has light frost. The eye appeal is like the quality - fabulous! PCGS 51, NGC 17, CAC 9. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $21,736 in September 2018 (this piece). Prior to that, NO PCGS/CAC piece had ever sold at auction. Do NOT be fooled by the pops, this is a VERY RARE date to find in true GEM. This is a great coin to place in a GEM $5 Indian set. These are so hard to find! PCGS# 8512 | ESTIMATE: $18,000+ 249

LOT 586 $5 1910 PCGS MS65+ Legend Rare Coin Auctions is proud to present this GEM 1910 half eagle, one of only four graded MS65+ at PCGS, with exactly ZERO graded finer. As such, this is a prime candidate for anyone demanding the highest graded examples for their PCGS Registry Sets. This GEM represents the date on PCGS CoinFacts as the plate coin. Not only is this coin a solid GEM, it is totally original and wonderfully fresh, having been submitted for grading for the first time by our consignor just before consigning to our sale. The golden color is tinged with a warm honey and wheat tone. Every detail is sharply embossed into the surface of the coin, all the feather details are sharp and fully rendered. The surfaces are quite clean, with only the most minor trace of trivial chatter that often appears even on the highest graded specimens. Satiny luster glows vibrantly on both sides, enhancing a bold, visual allure. PCGS 4, NGC 0. None are graded finer at PCGS. As stated, this coin is FRESH to the market, having been in an old family holding before being submitted for grading. No other MS65+ has ever sold in auction, but the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $22,500. We believe that this coin will see very spirited bidding, bringing a strong price. If you are working on a #1 set of Indian Head half eagles, bid accordingly! PCGS# 8517 | ESTIMATE: $18,000+ LOT 587 $5 1914 PCGS MS64 CAC A VERY HIGH END coin! Overall, the surfaces are above average in cleanliness. Even the dreaded right reverse field is fairly clean. A strong luster illuminates a beautiful shade of totally original gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations anywhere. Every detail is frosty and has a sharp strike. The eye appeal is fantastic! PCGS 292, NGC 202, CAC 58. The most recent example sold in the 2019 ANA auction and realized $3,000. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,750 and the current CDN CAC bid/ask is $2,400/$3,000. Worthy of a strong bid, we have not sold one since 2017! PCGS# 8527| ESTIMATE: $2,600+ LOT 588 $5 1916-S PCGS MS64+ CAC This is a VERY HIGH-END piece! We are most impressed with the coinís cleanliness. Even the dreaded right reverse field is clean and smooth (that is really rare). Overall, there are just a few hidden light ticks to find. A surprisingly strong luster enhances the beautiful original glowing gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. This coin has not been messed with in any way. All of the details are frosty and are sharply struck. PCGS 131, NGC 66, CAC 25. There are 30 graded 64+ and just 15 finer. We sold a non “+” coin for $7,638 in our June 2019 Regency Auction and a 64+ sold in that same month for $7,800. Keep in mind that we just sold a PCGS 65 CAC for nearly $40,000 in our Regency Event auction in October 2019. PCGS# 8532 | ESTIMATE: $7,250+ 250

LOT 589 LOT 590 $10 1853/’2’ NGC AU58 $10 1901-S PCGS MS65+ CAC This is a very attractive looking CHOICE AU example the so-called No question this coin is totally original and very pleasing, well 1853/2 overdate. The overdate was first discovered in 1960, as deserving of its grade. Overall, the surfaces are clean, although the feature is quite subtle, David Akers noting “the 2 is quite faint there are a few very tiny ticks scattered around and a spot that and easy to miss even on high grade specimens.” Walter Breen’s attests to the originality. The surfaces have that thick satiny type of Encyclopedia, notes “possibly 8-10 known, none UNC.” We know mint luster around the bust on the obverse. Totally original shades now, with sharp eyed specialists looking at all 1853 eagles, that of gold/pale greenish gold swirl all over. Miss Liberty and the while still quite scarce, it is not a major rarity in the series. In AU58, details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is super! the date is RARE and Mint State examples are represented by just a handful of MS61 and MS62 pieces, combined at both PCGS and PCGS 1302, NGC 1310, CAC 162. PCGS has graded just 86 in NGC. MS65+ and the date becomes quite scarce any finer. The recent APRs for CAC approved examples bring strong premiums over the The present coin has a warm tangerine-tinged, honey gold surface current PCGS Price Guide value of $2,600 (the last two sold for that is a delight to behold. Nicely struck, with only a touch of $3,290 and $3,480). This is a great coin for any gold bug. weakness, this coin saw only brief circulation and just a few small abrasions from its life in commerce. PCGS# 8749 | ESTIMATE: $2,800+ PCGS 8, NGC 30. We suspect that there is duplication in that figure. The last NGC-graded example brought $4,080 in November 2017 and prior to that, one sold in July 2014 for $4,113. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $6,500. Keep in mind that any Mint State example is going to be a five figure coin. A nice coin overall for the No Motto $10 Lib collector and we can see active bidding for this one. PCGS# 8611 | ESTIMATE: $3,500+ LOT 591 $10 1901-S PCGS MS66+ CAC The 01-S $10 is one of the most generic date Liberty eagles, readily available in all grades up to MS65. It becomes scarce in MS66, and it is EXCESSIVELY RARE any finer with CAC approval. Boldly lustrous with a brilliant golden cartwheel mint bloom, the surfaces show only microscopic ticks and a razor sharp strike. The eye appeal is superb! PCGS 258, NGC 216, CAC 47. PCGS has graded 22 in 66+ and just 2 MS67s finer. There has not been a 66+ in 2 and a half years, which realized $7,050 in July 2017 and the current PCGS Price is $8,250. PCGS# 8749 | ESTIMATE: $6,500+ 251

LOT 592 $10 1907 INDIAN. NO MOTTO. PCGS MS66+ CAC This is a GORGEOUS example! The surfaces are essentially PRISTINE with a great eye appeal. Having built the #1 all time set of Indian Head eagles, our sister firm, Legend Numismatics has handled many of these over the years. This coin really impressed them when it was consigned. Outstanding surfaces are very clean and using a strong glass we found only a couple of small old ticks. No question this coin is original and has never been messed with. A bold thick satin-like luster glows from all over accenting the outstanding apricot and rose tinged gold surfaces. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do stand out. PCGS 155, CAC 165, CAC 64. There are 39 graded MS66+ at PCGS and with just a dozen graded finer, we suspect that there is plenty of duplication of submissions of the same coin hoping for a 67 grade. The most recent PCGS/CAC example to sell in auction realized $21,238 in our January 2019 Regency Auction; and the average APR for a PCGS MS66+ CAC coin is nearly $21,000 making the $15,000 Collectors Universe value irrelevant for CAC-approved examples. Keep in mind, we sold a PCGS 67 CAC in our October 2017 Regency Auction for $82,250. This beauty is very high end and is very close to being the definition of SUPERB! PCGS# 8852 | ESTIMATE: $17,500+ LOT 593 $10 1908 MOTTO. PCGS MS64+ CAC A SUPER HIGH END piece. This piece is way above average with excellent satiny smooth surfaces. Even using a strong glass there are no serious imperfections to be found. The surfaces look like an original skin. There is a tiny copper stain on the reverse-proving this coin to be fully original. A moderate luster (typical) glows on both sides. Every detail is sharply struck and stands out. PCGS 319, NGC 188, CAC 55. PCGS has graded 19 in MS64+. This coin sold in our July 2018 Premier Session auction for $5,500 and the current Collectors Universe value is listed at $5,500. Keep in mind that a PCGS MS65 CAC will cost in the $9,000-$10,000 range, making this a great coin for the collector. PCGS# 8859| ESTIMATE: $4,000+ LOT 594 $10 1909-S PCGS MS64+ CAC This coin is SUPER HIGH END! Only a tiny “strike through” piece of lint (MINT MADE) on the reverse is all we see as keeping this coin from being a full MS65. Overall, the surfaces are really immaculate and have a satiny texture. A full luster shows off the gorgeous, even, and totally original gold colors. There are NO spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosty and have crisp full strikes. Her face is NOT hacked up like you typically see. The eye appeal is super! PCGS 55, NGC 34, CAC 13. There are just six in MS64+ and this one sold for $8,813 in our November 2018 Regency Auction. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $11,000 and keep in mind how rare this date is any finer (just 40 have been graded higher in all grades.) This is a totally original example that will delight any collector of this challenging series and will fit into a GEM set. PCGS# 8864 | ESTIMATE: $8,000+ 252

LOT 595 $10 1911 PCGS MS66+ CAC Wango Tango! WOW is this a BEAUTIFUL SUPERB GEM piece! We fully rank it a MS66.8+! Outstanding surfaces are as pristine and satiny smooth as you will even see on MS67’s! There are simply NO imperfections anywhere. A booming glowing type luster makes the coin really sparkle. Gorgeous totally original colors of even gold/pale pinkish gold boldly swirl all over. Mother Nature really came through on this piece. Miss Liberty and every detail are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is SUPERB in EVERY respect and then some! PCGS 24, NGC 42, CAC 21. PCGS has graded only 4 in MS66+. The only auction result is from five long years ago and is a ridiculously cheap -$18,800 in February 2014. An MS67 CAC would cost easily OVER $50,000. You certainly do not see this date looking like this very often (and we do know, our sister company has built the #1 and 2 sets). This piece would even be a star in any Gold Type set! PCGS# 8868 | ESTIMATE: $20,000+ 253

LOT 596 $10 1913 PCGS MS65 CAC Presented is a very pleasing, totally original GEM Indian Head $10. Sharply struck up devices stand out against the wonderfully frosted, satiny lustrous surfaces. A warm, yellow gold with medium peach overtones give this vivid beauty a great look. Remember this date is quite difficult to find any finer. PCGS 68, NGC 85, CAC 22. The last one to sell was the Crow River Collection coin that we sold in October 2017 for $9,106. This one is cleaner, and will likely sell for a stronger bid. The only other CAC-approved MS65s that ever sold in auction were NGC-graded. Worthy of a strong bid, in excess of the current PCGS value $7,500. Good luck! PCGS# 8873 | ESTIMATE: $7,000+ LOT 597 $10 1914 PCGS MS65+ CAC This is a very high end example of this conditionally RARE date. While available in lower Mint State grades, above MS65, this date is VERY RARE. A premium quality GEM, this beautifully preserved MS65+ is totally original, boasting a medium orange-gold color that is highlighted by a thick satiny mint frost.he devices are fully rendered by a precise blow from the dies, fully bringing out the full delineation to all the feathers. The surfaces are devoid of all but the most insignificant marks, visible with a strong glass only, and otherwise they are the epitome of satiny smooth! The eye appeal is fantastic in every way! PCGS 49, NGC 44, CAC 15. PCGS has graded just 4 in MS65+ and there are 15 graded higher. The most recent PCGS/CAC example sold in the 2017 ANA auction for $11,750 and prior to that, one sold for $14,100 in June 2017. Anything finer with CAC approval will approach $30,000. Worthy of a great collection of gold coins; whether you collect type or specialize in high end GEM $10 Indians, this coin is perfect for you! PCGS# 8875 | ESTIMATE: $10,000+ 254

LOT 598 $10 1926 PCGS MS65+ CAC This is a majestic GEM quality Indian Head eagle. Everything about it is Premium Quality. Radiant, satin luster blooms all over, giving this 1926 $10 a great look. The devices are sharply struck up and there are no serious ticks. Warm orange and brilliant yellow gold color is such a delight to behold on this highly original and fresh GEM. PCGS 510, NGC 603, CAC 40. PCGS has graded just 38 in MS65+ and a mere 31 finer. The most recent PCGS/CAC example to sell brought $6,169 in our May 2019 Regency Auction. What a great looking coin, one that is worthy of a strong bid for its great look. PCGS# 8882| ESTIMATE: $4,500+ LOT 599 $20 1867-S PCGS MS61 Despite a generous mintage of 920,750, the 67-S $20 remains a very rare coin in any Mint State grade. The present MS61 has a thick, frosty luster that glows under a layer of totally original orange-gold color. Sharply struck, the devices stand out nicely. Though there are a few tiny marks, this uncirculated jewel shows no wear and has a good look. PCGS 13, NGC 18. The most recent one brought $12,000 in June 2018 but that one had significant cuts on the obverse; prior to that one with other flaws brought $17,038 in the 2015 FUN Auction. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $18,500. Only four are graded finer at PCGS, all MS62, and none have sold since 2002! Good luck! PCGS# 8952 | ESTIMATE: $10,000+ LOT 600 $20 1869 PCGS AU58+ CAC This is a very pleasing super slider with virtually no perceptible wear to be found anywhere. A shimmering, satiny luster blooms all over with very pleasing rich orange-gold color. Some minor lines and contact from a brief stay in commerce. The eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 30, NGC 84, CAC 9. There are two in AU58+, neither have ever sold. NO CAC AU58 has ever sold in auction. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $5,850 and this coin will delight anyone working on a set who does not want to spend five figures for a Mint State survivor of this conditionally rare Type II double eagle. PCGS# 8955| ESTIMATE: $5,000+ 255

LOT 601 $20 1889-CC PCGS AU58 CAC We love coins like this: There is something extremely romantic about Carson City double eagles; big gold coins that have the aura of the wild west and the myths of bandits, bank robberies, stage coach chases, and the like. This borderline Mint State example is very choice for the assigned AU58 grade with the obverse displaying a full cartwheel luster. There are a few traces of contact, with some minor scattered ticks that we note for accuracy. There is a touch of planchet “slag” on the reverse, where some impurities came to the surface during the minting process. The eye appeal is totally original. PCGS 129, NGC 241, CAC 26. The most recent PCGS AU58 CAC sold in our November 2018 Regency Auction for $8,519 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $8,250. Despite the minor flaws this coin has a great visual allure and will see very strong bidding when the hammer drops. This is an extremely popular CC double eagle date. PCGS# 9011 | ESTIMATE: $7,000+ LOT 602 $20 1889-S PCGS MS64 EX SADDLE RIDGE HOARD, as noted on the holder. Nearly 30% of the gold coins from the famed Saddle Ridge Hoard were 1889-S double eagles. This stunningly brilliant borderline GEM has a SUPERB luster and boldly struck devices. Boasting a full booming luster that you can see from across the room, the surfaces are generally clean, the devices sharp and frosty, and the color is a bright, glittering yellow gold. The surfaces are very clean and show only very minute ticks on either side. It is astonishing that this coin sat in a rusting tin can with many other large gold coins underground and stayed with bold, lustrous, and clean surfaces. PCGS 72, NGC 37. The most recent example sold in March 2019 for $7,800 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $6,500. This is a very important opportunity any gold bug looking for a great looking double eagle. PCGS# 109012 | ESTIMATE: $5,000+ 256

LOT 603 $20 1892 PCGS AU53 A pleasing AU example of this very important and scarce date $20 Lib. A very low mintage date, with only 4,430 struck, this date is mostly seen in XF and AU grades. The surfaces retain a certain flash from the original Prooflike luster. The details are nicely and crisply rendered with just some minor signs of wear on the high points and in the fields. Contact marks are noted on both sides, acquired naturally during the course of normal circulation and none are singularly distracting. The eye appeal is better than most, which often come quite choppy. PCGS 12, NGC 17. None of these are CAC approved. The most recent example to sell in auction brought $15,275 in September 2016, and the current PCGS Price Guide value is $12,000. We think this coin will bring a strong bid. PCGS# 9019 | ESTIMATE: $7,500+ LOT 604 $20 1892-S PCGS MS65 This is a FRESHLY GRADED GEM example of the date. While the 92-S $20 saw a mintage of 930,150, those that exist in Mint State are generally MS64 and lower grade. In GEM grades, this date is QUITE RARE, with only 25 graded MS65 or MS65+ at PCGS and NONE finer. This lustrous beauty has bold, swirling cartwheel mint bloom that gleams over semi-reflective flash in the fields. The razor sharp devices are nicely frosted and the surfaces are very clean. Even using a strong glass there are no serious contact marks or discolorations anywhere to be found. While David Akers noted that “Gems are very scarce, but i have seen a number of them as well as a few truly superb quality specimens,” the current Population figures do not bear that out. In fact, the Saddle Ridge Hoard, discovered in 2013, had 178 examples of this date, which included 3 coins that graded MS65+ which ranked as the finest of the date. PCGS 20, NGC 7. The most recent example to sell in auction brought $19,388 in our September 2019 Regency Auction and the current Collectors Universe value is listed at $20,000. Flashier than the one we just sold, we would not be surprised if it brought more. PCGS# 9021 | ESTIMATE: $15,000+ 257

LOT 605 LOT 606 $20 1898-S PCGS MS64 CAC $20 1904 PCGS MS65+ CAC Well struck with satiny luster as is typical of this late date Liberty This is a VERY HIGH END and refreshing piece. The luster is substantial, as one would expect of a coin A strong luster glows throughout the warm, orange-gold surfaces. at this grade level. The eye appeal is exceptional as you would expect of a GEM. Radiant luster booms all over enlivening the delightful color and PCGS 1,542, NGC 1,185, CAC 204. PCGS Price Guide value sharply struck devices. $2,250. In the past year, auction prices for CAC coins ranged from $1,920 to $2,880. The present coin should place solidly in the PCGS and NGC have combined graded over 13,000 examples middle of that range. in MS65 and MS65+, only 471 have been CAC approved. In 65+ with a CAC bean, these sell in the $4,000-$5,000 range. Worthy PCGS# 9034 | ESTIMATE: $2,000+ of a premium bid, this is a great coin for any gold bug. PCGS# 9045 | ESTIMATE: $3,600+ LOT 607 LOT 608 $20 1907 NO MOTTO. SAINT GAUDENS. PCGS MS66+ $20 1911-D PCGS MS65 CAC This is an exceptional, Premium Quality GEM example of the first A highly lustrous GEM with a brilliant satiny mint frost that glows year of the Saint Gaudens series. Satiny smooth surfaces show on both sides. Nicely struck and free of any distracting marks or off a very strong mint frost that is thickly distributed across the discolorations, the eye appeal is strong and truly deserving of its very pleasing surfaces. Nicely struck, only the strongest of glasses CAC bean. While the three other gold denominations are keys will reveal a minor scuff that keeps this coin from CAC approval. to their respective series, the 11-D Saint is relatively available, Regardless, we do like it, as the visual allure is excellent and will though scarce in CAC quality. delight any gold coin collector as well. PCGS 2560, NGC 2202, CAC 317. PCGS/CAC examples generally PCGS 31, NGC 3. Fewer than 20 have graded finer in over 33 sell in the $2,400 range and the current PCGS value is listed at years of operations. The most recent example sold for $9,400 in our $2,450. September 2018 Regency Auction and the current PCGS Price Guide value is $9,500. Keep in mind that anything finer is going to cost PCGS# 9158 | ESTIMATE: $2,000+ $45,000-$50,000 if you can find one. This coin does present a grand opportunity for the collector of high grade Saints. PCGS# 9141 | ESTIMATE: $7,500+ 258

LOT 609 $20 1916-S PCGS MS66+ CAC Tied for the FINEST graded, this 16-S Saint is absolutely gorgeous and totally original! To say it is is PQ may be an understatement. Laura Sperber feels this is the FINEST 16-S she has ever seen and she has built the #1 and #2 FINEST PCGS Saint sets ever. Incredibly satiny surfaces are all over. The luster boldly glows on totally original rich orange-gold colored surfaces. Easily among the prettiest, the color only gets richer as you rotate both sides under a light. There are NO spots or discolorations. A couple of light breaks in the frost are all that keeps this coin limited to the present grade. The devices are sharply struck and the eye appeal is exceptional. PCGS 189, NGC 149, CAC 30. The present coin is one of a half dozen graded MS66+ at PCGS with NONE FINER. Only one has ever sold in auction, bringing $24,675 in our November 2018 Regency Auction. This coin has a richer golden color and the strike appears to be slightly stronger. Collectors Universe lists a value of $22,500 and this one will easily exceed that when the hammer falls. We would not be shocked if this coin set a new record for the date. Good luck! PCGS# 9169 | ESTIMATE: $20,000+ 259

LOT 610 $20 1924 PCGS MS66 CAC This is a high end GEM MS66 housed in an old green tag holder. A vivid orange-gold color is brought out by a bold satiny luster on both sides. There are no discolorations anywhere and the surfaces are very nice without any serious flaws, and the fields are ultra clean. Certainly high end for the grade, and very attractive, especially compared with what is recently being graded MS66. PCGS 9801, NGC 5218, CAC 662. This high end coin is worthy of a really strong bid as its quality is certainly on par with many graded MS66+, which bring on average $4,554. There will be strong bidding for this exceptional generic $20. PCGS# 9177 | ESTIMATE: $4,500+ LOT 611 25C 1870 J-911. PCGS PR66+ CAM CAC EX DENALI COLLECTION The FINEST KNOWN example of this very rare R-7+ Standard Silver Pattern. Struck in aluminum with a plain edge. There were many varieties of Standard Silver coins produced between 1869 and 1871 in various different metals and with differing designs. This variety has a capped bust of Liberty facing right with three stars on the band. The reverse wreath is made of one branch each of laurel and oak. This simple design looks fantastic on the highly reflective and contrasted aluminum planchet. Indeed, the coin is blinding when viewed under a light. Most of these off metal strikings were produced as part of special sets made for VIP mint clients to a very limited extent. Untoned and with only the slightest bit of haze, but never dipped or conserved. As pretty today as the moment it was carefully removed from the dies. PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. This is the finest example known, and sold in our November 2018 Regency Auction for $7,344. In January 2017ís Regency Auction XX, the Bob Simpson example, graded PR65 CAC, sold for $7,931. Anyone building a collection of Standard Silver patterns should really take a good, hard look at this one and plan to bid liberally. PCGS# 800067 | ESTIMATE: $7,000+ 260
