The first group on the left hand side are the coordinates that we can find by reading the grid lines from left to right, and the second group are what we find by reading the grid from the bottom up. When reading grid coordinates, you always want to remember the rule which is “read right up”. (As seen on PowerPoint presentation) In this lesson we will be using a known 4-digit grid coordinate and locating it on a military map.
