FOND MEMORIES A l l o f u s s e e k o u r ro o t s a s w e g ro w o l d e r. T h i s P h o t o b o o k compiled by the 2nd Batch of IITM attempts to go down memory lane from 1960, when a motley group from across India moved into Hostels on a new Campus being developed in Guindy, amidst hundreds of acres of lush g reener y, where herds of deer often crossed their paths. The 2nd Batch had many “Firsts” to boast of: first to inhabit the Campus, first to start an in-house magazine titled “Campastimes”, first to start a Film Club, which screened movies on Sunday evenings in the Open-Air Theatre and now first at this Photobook. This will hopefully inspire other Batches to compile similar volumes. Browse the pages to remember forgotten faces, rekindle dormant friendships and revive fond memories.
