Community Involvement MISSION The Camarines Norte State College Parameter D: shall provide higher and advanced Community studies in the fields of education, arts and sciences, economics, Involvement and health, engineering, management, Participation finance, accounting, business and public administration, fisheries, agriculture, natural resources development and management and ladderized courses. It shall also respond to research, extension and production services adherent to progressive leadership towards sustainable development.

Entienza Campus Extension Services Unit CNSC’s Mission aside from excellence in the academic field aims to also respond to research, extension and production services adherent to progressive leadership towards sustainable development. The Extension Services employed any of the following strategies in implementing different extension activities, programs and projects. a. Interfacing of the instruction, research, and extension functions to optimize management of resources. b. Building institutional linkages with various institutions for reciprocal share of resources through partnership and collaboration to achieve harmonized goals and objectives, with lesser use of resources and high socio- economic impact. c. Training, capacity building and continuing education among various stakeholders to acquire new knowledge, skills, values and desirable attitudes. d. Technical services and mentoring to enhance client groups in making decisions on the production, utilization, and conservation of their resources. e. Demonstration to gain more appreciation of learned knowledge and technologies by showing and demonstrating in their fields. f. Community-outreach and field immersion to encourage greater appreciation, monitoring and evaluation, and total adoption of innovation. g. Partnership and to reciprocate, remunerate and compensate extension workers and faculty of their dedicated service to the community.

Elena, Camarines Norte September 7, 2021 (Morning Session) During the morning session, the CNSC Research and Extension Services Unit conducted an interview with Hon. Noel V. Mayo (Barangay Kagawad), Mr. Roy V. Mercado (Barangay Secretary), and Ms. Rosalinda A. Abarca (Barangay Secretary). It was facilitated by Dr. Fernando H. Coratchea (Campus Director), Dr. Jofhiline F. Dygico (Dean), Ms. Julie Rose P. Portugal (Extension Coordinator) and Mr. Jesus P. Santillan (Research Coordinator)

Entienza Campus EXTENSION SERVICES UNIT PARTICIPATORY RAPID RURAL APPRAISAL (PRRA) Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Barangay Tabugon, Sta. Elena, Camarines Norte September 7, 2021 (Afternoon Session) During the afternoon session, the Extension Services Unit of CNSC Entienza Campus conducted the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to identify the needs of the community. The activity was spearheaded by Dr. Jofhiline F. Dygico and facilitated also by the Campus Director, Research, Extension, and Production Coordinator of CNSC Entienza Campus. The activity was actively participated by the Barangay Officials, and representatives of different community sectors such as Educational, Women, Youth, Elderly, Business, and Agricultural sectior of Barangay Tabugon.

Highlights of the Meeting AGENDA / HIGHLIGHTS WHO/ WHEN • Presentation of MTDP Status Report The MTDP was presented by Mr. Daryl Vincent P. Petas, Planning Coordinator in order for the participants to have bases in identifying Program, Projects and Activities relevant to the attainment of the development plan of the campus. • Presentation of ISO Audit Findings Mr. Michael Bryan Z. Rayos presented the ISO findings as additional input in identifying Program, Projects and Activities relevant to the attainment of the development plan of the campus. • Consultation Proper on the Proposed Vision Statement of Camarines Norte State College • Planning and Budgeting Orientation Mr. Petas presented the guidelines before the start of the consultation and planning workshop proper. • Planning and Budgeting Consultation with CNSC Entienza Campus Stakeholders. The stakeholders are group into four for the consultation and planning workshop.
