\"Yes, we are ready, bum bum ulala, Asyik Asyik josh!\" Vania's voice dominated. \"Zaid Bin Thabit?\" I put my right hand near my ear to the right sign I want to listen to the echoes of their yells. \"Yes, we are smart, kind, and creative. Insyaallah, Yes Yes Yes!” exclaimed the children half laughing while moving their hands in accordance with the word by word from the yells. I prepared the second yell. \"ZBT.\" \"Yes we are the best, yes we are the number one, yes we are the best, hu ha!\" The kids clapped, and the yells was over. Yes, I smiled seeing their spirit and happy smile, that yell had just restored my mood. \"Aaahh they are my real moodbooster.\" I muttered to myself. The children, who although were not born from my womb, are truly loved by me as my own children, like the school moto educate with love and care may indeed be the right words to describe my feelings for them. Although sometimes they managed to make me angry and annoyed until one day, I decided not to talk to them all day. But, the anger and annoyance were immediately gone when one of my students started talking and representing her friends apologized to me for not drinking tomato juice that had been provided for them every Wednesday evening before Asr prayer. Yes, that's the reason why I ignored them all day. So, every time the canteen officer prepares tomato juice for the children it will be my hardest day. It would take double effort to ask my children to drink it because almost half of the Cerita Indah di Detak Hati (Beautiful Notes in the Heart Beat) | 237
students in my class don't like that juice, it would be different if they served orange juice and dragon fruit if I don't watch it, other kids might not get juice because they really like those juices. \"Miss, can we take our phone?\" The question from Vania made me realize from my daydream about my days with those nice kids. \"Of course, Irsyad please take your phones in the box and distribute them to your friends.\" I ordered the class chairman. \"Ok, Miss.\" Irsyad replied and immediately walked to the teacher's desk to pick up a box that I intentionally provided every time there was a highlight library literacy schedule in the class. In the morning when they arrived in the class, the children would put their smart cellphones in the box which I had named so their cellphones would be arranged neatly and it would ease Irsyad to distribute the cell phones to his classmates. Everytime highlight library literacy schedule was held, the students were allowed to bring a cell phone to access the highlight library website and entering their user id and password after that choosing a few books they wanted to read for the next 15 minutes before the first lesson begins. Their fingers began to dance playing the gadget. Some students chose to use earphones to listen to the story in order to pair their pronunciation with the one in the audio. The book and the story are very interesting, displayed with colorful pictures accompanied by audio by native speakers that help their pronounciaton and there is a quiz feature in the form of several questions to find out how well the children understand the reading. 238 | Safridah, dkk
I rushed to turn on my laptop, accessed the same website and logged in using my account to check how many books my students have read and at what level they were in. Suddenly a student namely Habib came up to me and asked. \"Miss, what is the meaning of ‘rope’?\" \"Rope is tali, Habib.\" I answered and followed by habib who nodded and thanked me. \"Assalamu'alaikum\" someone said salam from the classroom entrance. Apparently it was Ms. Tata Bahasa’s teacher who came in exactly two minutes before she had to start his lesson. \"Ok Dear, time is over for reading. Now put your phones in the box and prepare for the first lesson.” I spontaneously called out to the children. They moved from their seats and one by one and put their cellphones in the box. Led by Irsyad's voice, who began to prepare his friends while counting down from 10 to 1 signaled his friends to hurry and get ready. I sat in my chair, watching the children who were learning about fantasy texts with Miss. Tata. A sound of water splashed from the sky soaked the earth. I opened the curtain behind me and I pushed the window a bit wider, I reached out my hand and said softly, \"Allahumma Soyyiban naafi'an.\" I said my prayer and gratitude for the rain this morning. I have so much to be thankful for this morning. Though it was cloudy but not a single drop of water soaked me throughout my trip to school. God awaited me to get here first before spilling raindrops from the sky. Cerita Indah di Detak Hati (Beautiful Notes in the Heart Beat) | 239
God also reminded me about the meaning of discipline and responsibility through Ust. Lino about my tardiness. \"Alhamdulillah ‘ala kulli haal, what a perfect morning.\" I told myself. 240 | Safridah, dkk
