01 Things you should know about writing an e-mail.
1. There are no clear rules or style of writing e-mail. 2. Generally, an e-mail message still follows the elements and styles of a business letter. 3. If the e-mail writer knows the recipient well or wants to write personal message, it may not be necessary to use salutations and complimentary closing. 4. E-mail can be formal and informal. That depends on many things such as languages for salutations and complimentary closing.
5. Correct grammar and spelling are still important. An e-mail message should be short and get to the point because most recipient often receive a lot of e-mail. 6. We should be careful about writing all words in upper case (capitals) such as URGENT. This can be meant that the writer is shouting at the recipient.
