FOREWORD This Technical Paint Specification manual has been prepared to assist Contractors, Painters, Quality Surveyors, Architects and Engineers in the use and application of our products. It contains Technical Information on each product manufactured by Kaleidoscope Paints Limited on surface preparation, drying times, number of coats, spreading rate, use, thinning etc.It also contains Material Safety Data Sheets for ease of reference for international and local customers. The manual is organised by Paint Category Type: Decorative, Industrial, Marine, Wood Finishes and Utility products. Additionally there are special sections on: paint problems and solutions, calculating surface areas, colour coordination and safety colour code. APPLY ONE PRIMER COAT OF Kaleidoscope Concrete Primer or one thin coat of Weather Masta Exterior Emulsion to cured and dried masonry walls, then two coats of Weather Masta Exterior Emulsion by brush, roller or spray. Use water to thoroughly wash affected areas, allow to dry overnight. Follow with one application of Kaleidoscope Sterilizing Solution and allow drying for 24 hours in dry weather to prevent algae growth, then top coat. Thin up to 370 ml of clean water per 3.785 litres for priming new surfaces which tend to be porous and absorbent. Always stir thoroughly before use and occasionally when in use and allow 1 hour drying between coats. Read all labels before use. CAUTION: Use only with adequate ventilation.
