Experience of the ISA CoordinatorsCelebrating the exemplary practices of internationalism, at Delhi Public School,Gurgaon we take pride in moving into the third rhythm of our ISA journey. We striveto mould each child into a wholesome human being by imparting the ethos of globalcitizenship to become an integral part of the community.Fostering the international policy adopted by school, as the ISA Coordinators, weindulged in extensive planning and brainstorming sessions to conceptualize an ISAAction Plan. A conscience endeavor was made to weave the ISA activities into oureveryday curriculum conducted during the course of the year.An inter-disciplinary approach was established for all the activities for which a teamof enthusiastic and dedicated teachers were identified for implementing the ActionPlan. Each of the seven activities were well thought of to enrich the teaching-learningexperience to bring our students closer to different cultures from different parts of theworld. During the mammoth task of collating and compiling documentation for eachactivity, we embarked on a journey of learning. It opened new avenues and broadenour horizon in finding out ways to conduct the activities and compile the E-Dossier inan innovative way to take the learning experience to a level higher than the onepreviously achieved. As we spearheaded this venture, which was yet again an experience of further wisdomand growth, we would like to thank our Principal, Ms. Aditi Misra , Vice Principal,Ms. Santvna Thadani and Dean of Student Welfare, Ms. Sapna Dhawan for theirunstinting support and encouragement. We want to acknowledge the relentlessguidance and support of Ms. Renuka Fernandes throughout the ISA journey. We alsothank Ms. Chanchal Chandna, our computer wizard for formatting the content andcompiling it into an E-Dossier.
