DRSD21_72 Resilient modulus of Municipal Solid Waste Bottom Ash in Vietnam Nguyen Chau Lan*, Nguyen Anh Tuan, Vu Anh Tuan [email protected] ABSTRACT In this study, cyclic triaxial tests were conducted to calculate resilient modulus of municipal solid waste bottom ash in Vietnam. The resilient modulus decreased with the increase of deviator stress in the case of R90 sample and increased with the increase of deviator stress in the case of R95. Plaxis model shows that municipal solid waste bottom ash can be used as construction material such as roadbed and foundation layers. DRSD21_153 Seismic Behavior of Pavements-An Approach towards Seismic Resistance Design of Roads Sukanta Das*, Ravindra Kumar Burnwal [email protected] ABSTRACT From past to till date, earthquake road damages have been observed in India and worldwide. The road networks play key role for natural and man-made disaster. Several researchers have been reported the road, bridge, and tunnel damage due to earthquake. However very less literature and almost no guidelines has been established against seismic resistance design of pavements. In the present study, two-dimensional finite element analysis has been performed for seismic response of road under surcharge load as traffic loads. The three-layer road has been modelled as three nodded triangular element and avg. element size has been taken as 1/10th of wavelength of the seismic events. The seismic excitation has been applied at the base of the model. The model has been verified based wave propagation theory. The lateral and vertical response of road has been presented in terms of response spectra and displacement with depth. As the PGA of the excitation increases the lateral and vertical movements increases of the roads. Road embanks are more venerable against seismic excitations. A parametric study also has been reported in the present study. Keywords: Landslide, Deep Learning Neural Network, GIS, Wayanad, India 39 | P a g e
