Amen.

August 25, 2021 Wednesday \"As a light bulb brightens when connected to a generator, so are you when you are joined in communication with God in prayer. Prayer is the foundation of the spiritual life.\" (Father Francois Xavier) Let me share. \"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.\"[Luke 11:9] O Lord, our God, as the day begins, may our hearts stay connected to You in prayer and thanksgiving. We owe You big, greatly indeed, for the gift of prayer, enabling us to be in communion with You through the Holy Spirit, in oneness with Christ Jesus, our Saviour, our Lord. Grant that our fleeting, if not dwindling faith, be nourished by prayer, always leading to Your love and mercy. The road ahead in our continuing journey seems long and winding. But You give us hope as we yearn to reach the perfection You have called all of us to. May Your Spirit lead us to You in prayer every moment of the day, especially in times of temptation. We depend on You, assured that You even hear the prayers of our hearts as well as the prayers of our loved ones, and all those we pray and care for.

Let us be in peace, in solitude with Your presence; let us close the door, retreat to You, in Jesus, through Him, and with Him. Amen.

August 26, 2021 Thursday \"Separation from God is the dark night of the soul.\" (Saint Padre Pio) Let me share. \"Blessed is anyone who endures temptation.\" [James 1:12] Father, Lord, and Almighty God, we hope that a new day from You spurs our sense of hope trusting that better days would come for us and the rest of Your people. May our anxieties leave us as we pin our hope in You. Never allow us to remain in despair and discouragement. Lift us up closest to the warmth of Your heart. This world, Your creation, O Lord, is still beautiful despite the most trying of times. Let Your in dwelling Spirit continue to strengthen us and enable us to discern what is good, acceptable and pleasing to You - in our thoughts, words and deeds. By You, in You and with You, make us steadfast in courage to fight the battle against sin, corruption and hypocrisy. Allow us to put on Your armor and with the breastplate we have in Jesus. By His very Cross, we will be victors over the alluring world, with its trappings of power, fame and wealth. Let us conquer our very selves, our mediocrity, lethargy and inadequacies.

Father, never let us be separated from You as nothing can separate us from Your love which is in Christ Jesus. Amen!

August 27, 2021 Friday \"Your prayer will then be, 'In all the world there is no one but You, dear God; there is no one but You.' \" (Oswald Chambers) Let me share. \". . . Till all we come . . . to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ . . .\" [Ephesians 4:13] My Lord, God of all, God of Love, God of Mercy and God of Joy and Peace, this week concludes with hope still strong in our hearts as we heed Your injunction for us to pray unceasingly. Enable us to dedicate this day of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to intercede for those whom we have totally forgotten to pray for. Lead us to pray, too, for those who do not have anyone to pray for them. Look with mercy and compassion upon the very poor, the very sick, and yes, our brothers and sisters in prison. We also pray for those who seek justice in this world. Help us make them realize that Your justice is the real one, and that there is indeed no justice in this world. You taught us nevertheless not to stop to give justice. And even as we struggle to be as just as You are, grant that we never fail to be truly just, and be unjudging of our fellowmen.

Lord, lift us up if we fall and lose our way. Let Your Spirit and Truth guide us through, with Jesus holding us by the hand, and showing us the Way to His very righteousness. All for Your honor and glory. Amen!

August 28, 2021 Saturday \"If Christ truly lives in us, then our very lives - including our public lives - are not ours, but his, and must bear witness accordingly.\" (Stephen P. White) Let me share. \"For this man [Paul] is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles, kings, and Israelites.\" [Acts 9:15] O God, Lord, and Almighty Father, we end the week to take some rest hoping to recreate once more. We give You thanks for enabling us to go through the week, drawing strength from You with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Grant that we may be able to de-stress and re- energize, take deeper breaths to relieve us of anxieties that overwhelm us. Time really flies so fast as a new month is in the offing. Whatever comes, Lord, may our hearts and souls receive the calm of Your peace and the balm of Your wisdom . You are a faithful God and we believe that You will bless, keep, and guide us, and those dear to us, to the very end. May we embrace Your faithfulness, and be rest assured and content by trusting You fully during these uncertain times, and through the storms that may come our way in our journey.

Help us keep our faith, and grow it, nourished by Your grace. May our every prayer begin always with You, and through You be joyfully accomplished. We ask all these in Jesus' Name. Amen.

August 29, 2021 Sunday \"Unity means sharing our blessings for blessings are meant to be shared with one another.\" (Father Tristan Laforteza) Let me share. \"[Love] bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.\" [1 Cor. 13:7] O God, Lord and Almighty Father, we wake to a day of worship with gratitude in our hearts. May our offer of praise be worthy before Your altar of grace as we give glory to Your Name. May we be able to listen to Your Word and the Gospel as it is proclaimed in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. May they take root in our hearts and enable us to live them, in Jesus, with Him and through Him. Inspire us to be in fellowship with Your Holy Spirit. All in all, bring us to a day of unity with the Holy Trinity, Your Threeness forever. Our imperfect selves aside, You remain our Father, loving and caring, healing our being, making us whole. May we remain Your children, guilty by Your measure, but still innocent by redemption in Your mercy.

Lead us to united prayer, and may we put aside our differences, and become one through fraternal communion in faith and in truth. Praise You in Jesus. Amen!

August 30, 2021 Monday \"It is essential that you give people the opportunity to act on the truth of God.\" (Oswald Chambers) Let me share. \"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.\" [James 4:8] O God, Father Almighty, may we live in the truth of Your presence this new day, this new week. Fill our hearts with thanks in praise of Your magnificent splendor and majestic reign. To You belong all the honor and glory. Hosanna in the highest! May we abide in You with the help of Your Spirit. By His divine inspiration, may we be led to stay on the right path to the truth of Your kingdom here on earth. May Jesus, the Truth, the Good Shepherd, find us when get lost to rejoin His flock. We believe we are sheltered in His loving hands so no sickness of body and soul can do us lasting harm. We thank You for lifting us again and again to true life in Him, with the light to overcome what is earthly, true life with the flexibility to remain trusting and confident no matter what happens, and true life to the great goal of Your heaven.

Father, You are our life. We have no other true God but You. In Jesus, we pray. Amen.

August 31, 2021 Tuesday \"In your busiest days, among your most distracting tasks, lift your mind and heart to me in a moment of love and all will be well. Everything will be well.\" (William A. Meninger) Let me share. \"For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have? Do not tax collectors do the same?\" [ Matthew 5:46] We extol You, our Lord, our God and King, and Holy is Your name. You are the God of history, and for all time, unchanging; You are the God Who was, Who is and Who will ever be. You blessed us anew of a fresh day and we thank You for this. May the day and every moment of it be filled with Your grace. May You take us under Your protective wings to repel the attack of the enemy. Continue to instill in us the spirit of perseverance, the gift of fortitude and the virtue of patience as we go on with our journey. With hope, may we reach You in heaven with Your promised salvation. Lead us to a life constantly dependent on You, Your grace and goodness. May that life give glory to You as we

embrace and tread the path of selfless service and righteous works. Thank You, Father. We adore You, in Jesus. Amen
