THE ROCK BUNGALOW seeks to achieve a balance between the existing Art Deco furniture and objet d’art curated by the seniors of the family and the contemporary designs preferred by the younger members. This can be seen in the harmonies created by repetition of the polygonal shape of the void in the staircase, in the monochromatic colour scheme of the bedrooms or the contrasts created by the Art Deco balustrade and upcycled Batali carved furniture. This fusion radiates peace and perfection in the meditation room as material, motifs, colour and mantra are balanced such that the MIND becomes the SPACE and a temple is created! 189
